Penn State men's basketball falls short against Colorado

Shep Garner didn't waste any time putting Penn State back in striking distance, but the team couldn't land the final blow.

Another comeback wasn't enough, as the Nittany Lions suffered their fourth loss of the season early Wednesday morning, falling 71-70 to Colorado at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.

With the Lions (8-4) trailing the Buffaloes (11-1) by four with 15 seconds left in the game, Garner got a layup, then grabbed possession after a pair of successful Buffalo free throws. He hit a triple with just two seconds left to make it a one-point game.
