Penn State closed out its non-conference schedule with a slam — literally and figuratively.
After blowing out Morgan State (3-8) 96-55 at the Bryce Jordan Center on Wednesday night, the Nittany Lions secured their eighth non-conference win, their fifth season in a row reaching that threshold. For the second game in a row, it was a dominant first half run that put the game away for good for the Lions (8-5).
In the first 12 minutes of the contest, the Bears kept the game within reach thanks to a few Penn State struggles in the half court offense.
