Patrick Chambers announced on Sunday night that Penn State would not be partaking in any postseason opportunities this season.
After losing to Ohio State in the second round of the Big Ten tournament last week, the Nittany Lions officially finished their season at 16-16. Chambers and the Lions opted to begin their offseason a few weeks earlier rather than accept a potential bid to a postseason tournament.
"We have decided not to pursue opportunities for post-season play this season. I am proud of what this team accomplished and how hard they continued to work and battle each day to become the best team we could be in March," Chambers said in the statement.
