An offseason of turnover continued for Penn State on Tuesday.
Assistant coach Dwayne Anderson will leave Penn State’s bench to serve as Director of Basketball Operations under Jay Wright at Villanova, where Anderson played for four years, according to a report from Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
His departure follows the early entry of star point guard Tony Carr to professorial ranks as well as guard Nazeer Bostick's announcement of his intent to transfer.
Anderson’s impact was felt strongly on the recruiting side of things. The assistant coach took the lead role in securing two of Penn State’s biggest commitments in recent memory in Carr and Josh Reaves, according to 247Sports.
