Peter TesorieroFormer Penn State basketball star Talor Battle is retiring from professional basketball, citing injury troubles, according to a release from his club team Petrol Olimpija Ljubljana.
The 29-year-old played sevens seasons of pro ball, most recently for Olimpija Ljubljana in the Slovenian Basketball League.
Other stops for Battle included time at Telekom Baskets Bonn (Germany), Capo d'Orlando (Italy), Belfius Mons-Hainaut (Belgium) and Hapoel Tel Aviv (Israel).
Battle ended his career with the Nittany Lions as the programs all-time leader point scored (2,213) and is just one four Division I players to record at least 2,000 points, 600 rebounds and 500 assists.
