The 15th annual Penn State Lift for Life event will be held this Saturday in State College as the Nittany Lions football team yet again sets out on a workout quest to raise money for the rare disease community via Uplifting Athletes.

If you're going, you probably already know, but a brief primer would inform you that, 15 years ago, receiver Scott Shirley set up Lift for Life to raise money for those fighting rare diseases by inviting fans to come and watch, and of course donate, a summer workout.
