UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Sometimes teams look to improve by buying into the notion that there can be addition by subtraction. During the last week at Penn State, however, James Franklin’s team is undergoing a lot of subtraction.
Add starting outside linebacker Troy Reeder, a redshirt freshman, and reserve cornerback Daquan Worley, also a redshirt freshman, to the growing list of personnel moves. Recruiting website Lions 247 and Pennlive.com reported this morning that Reeder and Worley will both transfer. Franklin and Penn State have yet to issue a statement on the pending departures.
Reeder, a former standout football and lacrosse player at Delaware’s Salesianum School, will head to the University of Delaware, Lions247 reported.
