UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Jason Cabinda was in on a team-high 11 tackles in Penn State’s 35-6 victory Saturday against Rutgers at Beaver Stadium.
That was a good game’s work, but Cabinda didn’t seem particularly impressed.
And not because he had participated in even more tackles in two previous games this season — 14 against Indiana and 12 against Michigan.
Fact is, it’s not clear that Cabinda is even aware of how his personal statistics against the Scarlet Knights ranked alongside those from his other performances this season.
“The only stat I care about is a win or a loss,” he said.
