UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State kicked off the second national signing period with a big get.
In every sense of the word.
Four-star offensive tackle Rasheed Walker of Waldorf, Md., committed to the Nittany Lions, opting for Penn State over Ohio State and Virginia Tech.
He is 6 feet 6, 300 pounds, and rated the No. 7 offensive tackle — and No. 65 overall prospect — in the nation by Rivals.
Penn State began the day with the country’s No. 4 recruiting class, and now has 23 members of the Class of 2018 who have submitted letters of intent.
