Today's Penn State football news headlines feature the addition of two preferred walk-ons in the Lions' 2018 recruiting class and rankings that peg Saquon Barkley as the nation's No. 2 running back.
The Lions were active on the recruiting trail Tuesday and picked up preferred walk-on commitments from Cox Mill (N.C.) punter John Brosnahan and State College wide receiver Brandon Clark, the son of former Penn State All-American Bruce Clark. The PSU legacy jumped on a walk-on offer he received from the Lions coaching staff Wednesday, according to John McGonigal of the Centre Daily Times.
