The Penn State football team finds themselves at number 3 in this week’s College Football Playoff Rankings, the final rankings before the playoff itself is set.
The Nittany Lions are headed to Indianapolis to face the Oregon Ducks in the Big Ten title game this upcoming weekend; as a result of the Buckeyes’ loss last weekend, in addition to the championship game slot, PSU also takes OSU’s spot as the 5th seed in the projected playoff bracket.
Oregon is still number one in the rankings (and seedings), while Texas, after dismantling Texas A&M, is still number two in both.
