The Penn State men's hockey team is ranked No.16 in the latest USCHO.com poll. This is the highest ranking in program history and it's also the first time that the Lions have stuck in the poll for three consecutive weeks. Coming off a home sweep of Michigan State, Guy Gadowsky's squad leaped over two teams in this week's poll.
Also of note is that the Lions currently sit in the No.12 spot of the PairWise rankings. The PairWise rankings are a simulation of the process that the selection committee will use to determine the sixteen teams that will be awarded a spot in the NCAA tournament at the end of the year.
