Penn State Hockey: Nittany Lions Swept by Michigan

Penn State met Michigan on the ice this weekend for a unique series, with the first game taking place Thursday at Pegula and the second game acting as the nightcap of Big Ten Super Saturday at Madison Square Garden.

The first game would bring lots of hype, as it was widely considered to be the biggest game in program history.

Michigan took the lead 1-0 after a goal by Tyler Motte during a mad scramble in front of the net. The goal would go under review, but it would ultimately stand.
