The move comes a day after the Nittany Lions' finished the 2015 regular season.
Less than 24 hours following the conclusion of Penn State's regular season, ESPN's Brett McMurphy is reporting that offensive coordinator John Donovan has been let go.
James Franklin released a brief statement regarding his former offensive coordinator, according to a press release:
I have tremendous respect for John and the work he has put in over the last five years. I wish him and his family nothing but the best.
For much of the season, Donovan has come under fire from fans for failing to take advantage of quarterback Christian Hackenberg's talent and the skill of a young group of receivers.
