Penn State gets commitment from four-star safety

Four-star safety Jonathan Sutherland has verbally committed to Penn State, making it the team's second commitment this week.

The Alexandria, Va., native from Episcopal High School comes in at 6 feet, 195 pounds. He had many offers, including Michigan, Nebraska, Pitt and Wisconsin.

He is the 10th committement in the class of 2017 for the Nittany Lions and second this week after North Carolina safety Brelin Faison-Walden announced his commitment Wednesday. Until this week, Penn State had been in a commitment drought since mid-April.
