UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State football coach James Franklin has landed his most highly regarded recruit so far for the class of 2019.
Caedan Wallace, a four-star offensive guard from Princeton, N.J., committed to the Nittany Lions Saturday, a few hours before Penn State’s annual spring game at Beaver Stadium.
Wallace is 6 feet 4, 330 pounds and is rated as the nation’s No. 3 guard by Rivals, which ranks him as the No. 66 prospect overall.
He is the third member of Penn State’s class of 2019 and one of more than 100 high-school players scheduled to attend the Blue-White Game, so it’s conceivable that he won’t be the last to commit to the school this weekend.
