Penn State Football: Trio of Nittany Lions Named on Ballot for College Hall of Fame Class

Three first-team All-Americans at Penn State are on the ballot for the 2017 College Football Hall of Fame Class. Quarterback Kerry Collins, running back D.J. Dozier, and offensive lineman Steve Wisniewski will all be in the running to become the newest members of the Hall of Fame.

Collins is arguably one of the best quarterbacks in Penn State history, having led the Nittany Lions to an overall record of 40-9 during his time at the school. He won the 1994 Maxwell Award as the National Player of the Year and the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award. He was victorious in three New Year’s Day bowl games, including the 1995 Rose Bowl.
