Penn State Football: Trace McSorley could break passing record Saturday

It took a little longer than some expected, but senior quarterback Trace McSorley could break the Penn State football career passing yards record versus Ohio State. Right now, McSorley has 8,133 yards, trailing only Christian Hackenberg’s 8,457. For those of you who didn’t do the math, he needs 325 yards to break the record.

Now I know he’s yet to even break the 250-yard barrier this season and has actually thrown for 160 yards or less in two games. But, he’s thrown for more than 324 yards, seven times in his career, so it’s within the realm of possibility.
