This time, it looks for real Penn State football fans – Tommy Stevens is likely going to finish his career somewhere else. News broke that he’d entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal today, according to a tweet from Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.
Stevens looked into transferring last year but returned for another season to back up the now-graduated Trace McSorley. Just because he entered his name into the portal does not mean he’s gone. It means he can explore his options, but it doesn’t bode well for a guy that’s looked into transferring before.
