Former Penn State Nittany Lions’ running back Saquon Barkley could never forget where he came from. Sure, he might’ve been born in New York, where he currently resides while playing the New York Giants, but most of his football days have been spent in the state of Pennsylvania. As he went to Whitehall High School in Pennsylvania, Barkley made a name for himself as a four-star running back, who eventually committed to Penn State in 2015.
By now, I’m sure you all know how Barkley’s college career went. As a Freshman, he impressed the NCAA by taking on 182 carries for 1,076 and seven touchdowns.
