This past Penn State football season featured some showcase games on its schedule. However, the team also carried some snoozers against the cellar dwellers of the Big Ten. Nevertheless, a game that receives little attention but helped get the offense prepared for its great 2016, is Maryland.
At 3-2 overall and coming off a 29-26 win over Minnesota, the Nittany Lions needed a big statement win. Now before everyone jumps down my throat for this, Maryland wasn’t a statement win to college football. But it did make a statement to the team that the offense won’t be the same.
