Penn State’s 2017 recruiting class now has two wide receiver commits. Three-star wide out Mac Hippenhammer has committed to Penn State. Hippenhammer joins Cameron Sullivan-Brown as the two wide receivers currently in Penn State’s 2017 recruiting class.
Hippenhammer’s decision came down to the Nittany Lions, and Big Ten foe Iowa. He also held offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Michigan State, and Syracuse, among others.
Standing at six feet, 170 pounds, the native of Fort Wayne, Indiana makes a good target for quarterbacks. Hippenhammer camped for the Nittany Lion coaching staff at their Bowling Green satellite camp back in June.
