Penn State’s 2017 recruiting class now has eight members, as Fairburn (GA) cornerback DJ Brown has committed to the Nittany Lions. Brown chose the Nittany Lions over Cal, Louisville, Mississippi State, Northwestern, UCLA, and Wisconsin, among others.
The five-foot-eleven, 175-pound Brown is the first defensive back commit in Penn State’s 2017 recruiting class. Brown visited Penn State for the Blue-White Game and received an offer while on campus. After the visit Brown named the Nittany Lions his leaders, and it did not take much longer for him to commit. With Brown’s commitment, the Nittany Lions now have the 16th-best recruiting class in the country according to 247 Sports.
