Penn State football head coach James Franklin got some good news on Christmas in the form of a class of 2020 commitment. Four-star linebacker Derek Wingo became the second member of Penn State’s 2020 recruiting class.
A native of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Wingo plays at annual powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas. The junior checks in at six-foot-two, 215 pounds — a bit on the small side for a linebacker, but he’s got plenty of time to grow.
