Just one day after landing four-star quarterback Michael Johnson, Penn State football recruiting added another member to its 2019 class. Offensive tackle Zachary Franks from Baltimore made the call for the Nittany Lions.
His attention kept up Penn State’s recent recruiting momentum.
Rated as a three-star prospect according to 247Sports, Franks comes in as the No. 86 offensive tackle in the group and the No. 16 player from the state of Maryland. He currently plays for the Gilman School — the alma mater of current Penn State defensive lineman Ellison Jordan.
Franks received his offer from the Nittany Lions early in the summer while at a camp.
