The second of two defensive backs from the state of Texas to head to Penn State as part of the 2018 recruiting class, safety Isaiah Humphries also entered the school early. In doing so, he’ll get a head start on preparing for his collegiate career with the Nittany Lions.
Penn State received the commitment from Humphries on January 1, 2017. He then signed during the early signing period in December, allowing him to start school early.
A defensive back named Humphries may sound familiar to Nittany Lion fans. That’s because his father, Leonard, played at Penn State in the early ’90s.
