Penn State was ranked No. 8 in Monday’s preseason AP poll. The Nittany Lions are ranked in both major preseason polls, as the team is No. 9 in the Coaches’ Poll.
Only two of Penn State’s 2024 opponents are ranked. Ohio State came in at No. 2, and USC ranked No. 23. Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin all received votes.
Three other Big Ten teams were ranked in the poll- Oregon (No. 3), Michigan (No. 9), and Iowa (No. 25).
