So many talented options play under center for Penn State football. Trace McSorley, Tommy Stevens and Sean Clifford look like the number one, two and three QBs on the depth chart. But, they have another respectable passer in redshirt sophomore Jake Zembiec.
After two years in Happy Valley, he finally got to showcase his skills in PSU’s spring game. The young dual threat QB completed 6-of-12 passes for 39 yards and a touchdown while adding 36 yards on just six carries. His scoring toss was the lone touchdown of the game for the white team.
Zembiec wasn’t perfect through the air, but he displayed nice decision-making.
