The journey to 30 commitments is still taking place for Penn State football. As the team works on its 2020 recruiting class, they are only a few prospects shy of hitting their goal. Back in the summertime, James Franklin had some struggles with the 2020 class early on.
As the Nittany Lions lost a handful of crucial commitments, some fans believed Franklin was beginning to lose his touch on the recruiting front. Thankfully, Franklin didn’t lose faith in himself or his class, because Penn State bounced back shortly after the losses.
Not only did Franklin avoid folding — he even doubled-down on his recruiting skills.
