The College Football Hall of Fame recently released its ballot for the 2018 class. Two former Nittany Lion greats are listed among the 75 candidates. Quarterback Kerry Collins and offensive lineman Steve Wisniewski are among those eligible to be selected to the class. Both players were members of unbeaten Penn State teams.
Collins was one of the top quarterbacks in school history and was an All-American in 1994. He also won the Maxwell Award as the Player of the Year and was the MVP of the Big Ten. That season, he led a Nittany Lion team that had one of the best offenses in all of college football.
