Although some of the high expectations for Penn State football heading into this season haven’t been met, the Nittany Lions still have a chance at racking up nine wins in the regular season and earning a berth in a prestigious bowl. The Maryland Terrapins invade Beaver Stadium this week looking for a win just to become bowl-eligible.
Penn State has hit some obstacles over the last few weeks and heads into the final week of the regular season with eight wins and three losses to Ohio State, Michigan State, and Michigan. Senior quarterback Trace McSorley suffered an injury a few weeks back and has yet to fully recover.
