There are still plenty of things to sure up heading into the Big Ten portion of the schedule, but the Penn State Nittany Lions were able to avenge last year’s loss to the Temple Owls. The win on the field Saturday truly wasn’t easy. The Nittany Lions had to overcome a mired of mistakes and injuries to key players en route to a 34-27 victory over the Owls.
Penn State finished the game with three turnovers. They committed four at Pitt last week and one in the opener against Kent State. New quarterback Trace McSorley, for all the positives he’s shown, has also had a problem with fumbles and interceptions.
