With National Signing Day only two weeks away, the Penn State coaching staff is on the recruiting trail trying to put the finishing touches on the 2016 recruiting class. However, the coaching staff is also trying to get a head start on the 2017 and 2018 recruiting classes.
Penn State wide receivers coach Terry Smith was down in the Carolinas on Tuesday. Smith decided to stop by South Pointe High School in Rock Hill, South Carolina early Tuesday morning. At South Pointe High School, is prized 2018 recruit, athlete Derion Kendrick.
The 2018 athlete is rated as a 4-star prospect by 247Sports.
