It has been over a month since Penn State football has been on the field, but that will all change in just a few short days. After posting nine wins in the regular season, the Nittany Lions have a chance for their third-straight 10-win season against the Kentucky Wildcats in the Citrus Bowl.
The Nittany Lions own a 3-2 all-time record against the Wildcats, with the last matchup between the two schools taking place in the 1999 Outback Bowl. Penn State came out victorious that day with a 26-14 victory.
Penn State last played in the Citrus Bowl in 2009 — a 19-17 win over LSU in a memorable mud bowl.
