After playing 10-straight games to open the 2015 season, the Penn State Nittany Lions get a much-needed rest this week. After suffering a heartbreaking loss at Northwestern on Saturday, head coach James Franklin and his Nittany Lions get an extra week to evaluate the season thus far and to work on problem areas for the reaming two games.
Penn State currently sits at 7-3, and while the record is better than what some may have expected, the Nittany Lions have been up-and-down this season, especially on offense. This week provides a chance to both rest and regroup.
The Nittany Lions, who enjoyed five-straight home games this year, have now played on the road three of the last four weeks and end the season with a home game against the dangerous Michigan Wolverines and a tough road test at Michigan State.
