The Penn State Nittany Lions enter Week 2 of the college football season with a surprising 0-1 record. The Nittany Lions were a seven-point road favorite against Temple last week, but were shocked 27-10. Despite the ugly loss, Penn State is a double-digit favorite at home over the Buffalo Bulls from the Mid-American Conference.
According to Vegas, the Nittany Lions are currently a 20-point favorite over the Bulls.
Penn State is going to have to hope for quick improvement, especially on offense, if it hopes to send the home crowd home happy. Junior quarterback Christian Hackenberg looked awful last week, completing just 11 of 25 passes for 103 yards and an interception.
