It was a big day on Wednesday for Penn State defensive end Carl Nassib. First he receiver the Ted Hendricks Award, given to the best defensive end in the country. Then, it was announced he won the Lombardi Award, given to the nation’s best lineman (offensive or defensive) and linebacker.
Former Penn State head coach Bill O’Brien stated that he has been proven wrong by Nassib, who sat the bench under O’Brien.
