When Penn State football takes the field in 2019, there will be several players looking to play big roles at wide receiver. One such player, who has flown under the radar so far, is Mac Hippenhammer.
The redshirt freshman is a gifted athlete who also plays on Penn State’s baseball team. In fact, he won’t be participating in spring football practice this year due to his commitment to baseball. However, when the fall comes, he’ll find himself competing for playing time on a crowded depth chart.
Recruited out of Indiana as a member of the 2017 class, Hippenhammer was rated as a three-star recruit according to 247Sports.
