In what is becoming a bit of a trend, Penn State has lost another player to transfer. Backup linebacker Gary Wooten decided to leave the school to play his football elsewhere. He’s the fourth Nittany Lion to leave in a matter of two days and the third from the defensive side of the ball. Wide receiver Geno Lewis, linebacker Troy Reeder and cornerback Daquan Worley all decided to leave Happy Valley.
Audrey Snider of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette confirmed the report of Wooten’s departure.
Can confirm reserve LB Gary Wooten will be a graduate transfer and leave the #PennState program.
