The start to the month of June was a strange one for Penn State football. Their 2020 recruiting class was beginning to collapse, no thanks to four de-commitments in a matter of a couple of weeks. Many lost hope, but James Franklin and company remained calm, cool, and collected.
De-commitments aren’t great, but they don’t make or break an organization roughly about a year before it is signing time. That’s what Penn State tried to preach when they were losing prospects, but everybody wanted results, not potential false promises.
Fortunately, the Nittany Lions didn’t bat an eye.
