It’s time for Penn State football to get rolling and focused on the 2019 NCAA season. Just because the recruiting events of the offseason are all wrapped up though, doesn’t mean the recruiting stops. At this point, the Nittany Lions scouts and coaching staff have done an excellent job of hosting prospects. Now, it’s time to seeing everything fall into place.
On Wednesday, the Lions landed their first commitment in weeks. After taking the month off, due to the dead period, Penn State patiently waited for their next prospect to come through. While they snagged a verbal commitment from a 2021 candidate, the lack of 2020 commits as of late was beginning to get a bit concerning.
