On Sunday the Penn State football team earned a new addition to the 2024 recruiting class, as 2024 offensive tackle Deryc Plazz committed to Penn State. Plazz attends Andrew Jackson high school in Jacksonville, Florida and he stands at 6’5 280 lbs.
He is a 3-star prospect according to On3, and he chose Penn State over Miami, Flordia State, Duke, and North Carolina State. He becomes the 3rd prospect from the state of Florida in the 2024 class joining defensive backs Jon Mitchell and Antonie Belgrave-Shorter.
The Nittany Lions now have 6 offensive line commits in this class with players who will be ready to play right away and others who will need a year or two to develop.
