The 2015 Penn State Nittany Lions had their regular season came to a disappointing end on Saturday with a 55-16 loss against the fifth-ranked Michigan State Spartans. Losing to Michigan State was not what caused the disappointment, as the Nittany Lions were heavy underdogs. What is disappointing is that despite a 7-2 start to the season, the Nittany Lions finished just 7-5 and will ride a three-game losing streak into their bowl game.
The Nittany Lions moved the ball up and down the field with relative ease in the first half versus the Spartans. However, they trailed 20-10 at halftime due to self-inflicted wounds.
