Seeking their first road win of the season Penn State (5-2) travels to M&T Bank Stadium to take on the Maryland Terrapins (2-4). Maryland enters the game under new leadership as former head coach Randy Edsall was fired following the team’s loss to Ohio State in Week 6 and replaced by offensive coordinator, Mike Locksley. In Locksley’s first game as interim head coach he will look to end the Terps’ three-game skid in which they have been outscored 122 to 34.
At Beaver Stadium last season Penn State fell in the final minute to a feisty Maryland squad, 20-19; however, the game’s real excitement started at the pregame coin toss.
