Penn State football’s physical wide out Juwan Johnson raised the expectations for himself early on. His game-winning catch and 92-yard performance against Iowa put up him on the map in the Big Ten. However, he hasn’t corralled another touchdown since.
His inability to reach pay dirt has cost him some deserved attention. Through 11 games, Johnson has caught 45 passes for 572 yards and one touchdown. The sophomore wide receiver can make all the catches and that makes him invaluable to Trace McSorley.
His size provides a bigger target that the team didn’t have entering the year.
