It’s no secret that Penn State football started multiple linebackers last season due to injuries. At first, it hurt the Nittany Lions and the unit became a weak spot. As the season progressed, the amount of experience the unit obtained became a major strength.
Jason Cabinda started the season as one of those injured linebackers. Cabinda injured his arm during Penn State football’s season opener against Kent State. It caused him to miss nearly a month and a half. Despite the missed time, Cabinda still recorded the third most tackles on the team with 80 while adding four tackles for loss.
