Penn State head coach James Franklin, whose team is on bye this week, still met for his weekly Big Ten coaches teleconference on Tuesday. The head coach addressed several questions, including one that asked him to evaluate the performance thus far of junior quarterback Christian Hackenberg. Franklin was quick to praise what Hackenberg has done this year.
“I think the last six weeks he’s played really well. You look at his touchdown-to-interception ratio; really done a great job of protecting the ball. Making big plays down the field. I think all of those things have improved.
