The Penn State football secondary create quite a name for itself over the last few seasons. Players like Marcus Allen, Malik Golden and Troy Apke became consistent playmakers patrolling the back-end. Now, it’s time for new names to take over with all three leaving the team the last two years. The biggest name that the team can rely upon back there is Nick Scott.
He might have one year to prove himself, but he already has name notoriety with Nittany Lions’ fans. Scott made fierce, hard-hitting highlights commonplace in 2017. Although he played in a backup role, he made some plays, recording 32 total tackles including a fumble return for a touchdown.
