Penn State football will be seeing a member of their secondary take his football talents elsewhere, as freshman safety Isaiah Humphries announced Wednesday that he will transfer.
Coming out of Sachse High School (Sachse, TX), Humphries was considered a three-star prospect by 247sports.com. He held offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado, Oklahoma, Houston, SMU and other schools closer to his home state.
Humphries didn’t see the field during his only year with the Penn State football team. He’ll have four years of eligibility at his next school. Humphries was a Penn State legacy; his father Leonard was a Nittany Lion from 1988-1992.
