The Penn State football program has seen better months during recruiting season, but the past week hasn’t been so bad. Despite losing four commitments during the month of June, the Nittany Lions were fortunate enough to come away from one of their busiest weekends of the offseason with five commitments for the 2020 class.
It hasn’t been an ideal month, but the show must go on. And as the show goes on, the Nittany Lions are still remaining relevant in the cycle. Although they didn’t get any more verbal commitments outside of Jaden Dottin, Ji’Ayer Brown, Fatorma Mulbah, Coziah Izzard, and Tyler Elsdon, the Lions ended up making the cut for a four-star prospect recently.
